But the moment they entered, they knew - someone was already here, and had been waiting for quite some time.

Her voice carried an unexpectedly casual, almost musical quality. Yet beneath that lightness lurked a razor-sharp edge that couldn't be hidden. At the tunnel's far end, she came into view, sitting with casual elegance on a concrete ledge. Crimson eyes that seemed to glow in the darkness, a cigarette held between pale fingers, and a blade half-drawn from its sheath. Porcelain skin contrasted against blood-red lips, all framed by a smile that would make even veteran assassins break out in a cold sweat.
