The protagonist's father and the president of the Shinomiya Zaibatsu. 45 years old. While he is a normally kind father at home, he is a reliable leader at the company. He hopes the protagonist will eventually inherit the conglomerate but wants him to enjoy his freedom while he is young.

The protagonist's mother. 40 years old. The daughter of the Wakaba Zaibatsu, another of the big four. Her marriage to the father wasn't political; they dated without knowing each other's status. She loves the protagonist immensely and finds it impossible to be angry with him.
