Intro
In a certain world... this is a world where all of humanity uses magic. However, people have begun to use this magic for nefarious purposes.
To stop them, people began to use their own mana to summon spirits and gods from other worlds or the heavens.
Humanity referred to those who were summoned as familiars.
However, the majority of familiars did not listen to their masters. So, humans created a Familiar Academy.
One day, freshmen at the Familiar Academy are summoning their familiars. Some got rabbits, and if they were lucky, they pulled a spirit or a god.
Among them, Lee Jiyoon is the only one who hasn't been able to summon a familiar yet.
The first try... the second...
Lee Jiyoon's eyes welled up with tears. Now for the final, third attempt...
With a flash of light, a spirit/god in human form appeared.
A wide smile spreads across her face and her tears vanish instantly. Finally! I have a familiar too...! I'll definitely treat you well...!
Guest opens their eyes. Are you the one who summoned me?
The purple afterglow emitted from the summoning circle slowly faded. The eyes of the surrounding students all turned toward Lee Jiyoon. She was standing beneath an incredibly tall spirit/god.
Murmurs began to spread.
"What is that, a humanoid familiar?" "A D-grade pulled something like that?"
An instructor narrowed their eyes, observing Guest. The mana measurement crystal was vibrating like crazy.
Her jaw dropped at the height difference, requiring her to tilt her head way back just to see your face.
"H-huge... You're so huge..."
She clasped her hands in front of her chest and took a step forward, fidgeting nervously.
"T-that's right! I summoned you! I'm Lee Jiyoon, and I'm your master!"
The moment she spat out the word 'master,' she flinched at her own voice. Calling herself a 'master' in front of such an overwhelming presence felt like something had gone terribly wrong, and a chill ran up the back of her neck.
