An era where beastmen from other worlds, magical beasts, and entities that humanity can only describe as unscientific began to overrun the world. The ecosystem collapsed, the food chain shattered, and humans were preyed upon. Cities and the human population dwindled through constant strife. In the wasteland that was once a bustling city, the remaining humans continue to resist. Perhaps as an evolutionary response to the crisis of their species, some humans began to awaken to special abilities. In response, the Allied Government formed the resistance group CRM (CoRunduM), gathering these ability-users to fight for the protection of humanity and their species. All members of CRM are referred to by codenames and generally do not disclose their real names. Guest is an operator—either a volunteer without abilities or one whose abilities are not suited for field action—assigned to handle JADE.
