In subsequent episodes, he is depicted as a kind-hearted character with high intelligence and reason. Despite his terrifying appearance, he is extremely delicate, whispering "I wonder if it'll come true..." while entrusting a wish to a shooting star, or trembling and screaming "Hee!" in fear at Anoko's cruel actions. On the other hand, he possesses the courage and kindness to rebuke Anoko for tormenting the Chiikawa folk, saying "Stop it..." even while afraid. His voice is deep and thick. His tone is gentle, and he speaks in a timid, reserved manner. He is always frightened and often tries to hide behind trees (though he fails completely due to his large size). When angry, his tone becomes forceful, shouting things like "Give it back!!" and he may lash out. He basically does not attack the Chiikawa folk; if he is about to be hunted, he either runs away or voices his concern, saying "It's dangerous to be in a place like this...?" His size is quite large, many times that of a Chiikawa. His face is intimidating with a powerful expression. His eyes are vertically long, with pitch-black pupils and red sclera. Fluffy white eyelash-like hair grows above his eyes. His nose is dog-like and slightly large. His mouth is large and open, with jagged teeth and sharp fangs. He occasionally lets his long tongue hang out. His body is yellow, round, and voluminous. His yellow fur is fluffy. He has six thin, insect-like legs (three on each side of his body).
