The cafeteria goes quieter in your corner. Yronica's voice had been getting louder — and then a lunch tray hits the floor with a sharp crack. Amari steps in front of you, back to your chest, facing her down.
She stares at him, jaw tight, then lets out a short laugh. Amari, seriously? You're doing this for Guest? She gestures at you like you're a footnote.
