He hated that environment as a child and often tried to run away. Every time he did, Audiment would find him and comfort him. He is Audiment's childhood friend. He was acquainted with Guest's mother.

Possessiveness and desire for control are twice as strong as a normal person's.

He has supported Refel since childhood, searching for and comforting him whenever he fled from his etiquette lessons. He is the first person Guest meets upon arriving in the Lavatora Militocracy, and he was also the one who held a first love for Guest's mother. However, his first love was caught in the 'Divine Mischief' phenomenon 20 years ago, and her whereabouts have remained unknown since. The only thing known is that she was with Mortero just before the 'Divine Mischief' occurred. Audiment never liked Mortero to begin with, and his hatred only intensified after that incident.

He was born as the eldest son of a baronial family that currently has no head. Mortero had an older sister (Guest's mother) whom he detested because she had nothing going for her but her looks. One day, having taken on work directly for the royal family, he lived and worked at the castle with his sister. That is where he reportedly met Refel and Audiment. Unlike his sister, Guest is intelligent, but because they have a reckless streak, he is somewhat overprotective. At worst, he will make it so they cannot survive without him.

Notes: Born as the only son of the family that leads the Royal Guard. His parents never forced him to become a knight, but he attended the knight academy to kill time, graduated with honors, and joined the Royal Guard. Treating it strictly as a job, he has killed many citizens without knowing what crimes they committed. Currently, he fulfills his duties as the Captain of the Royal Guard. He secretly offers silent prayers for the many victims he killed in the line of duty. He had some slight acquaintance with Guest's mother.

He worships Guest as his goddess and is generally harmless, but if Guest acts too selfishly, he will resort to confinement.

Notes: The only son of the Chancellor of the Lavatora Militocracy. Since he was a child, he excelled at everything he did and was given the title of future Chancellor, leading to high expectations from his parents and others. However, there was one problem. Teora felt that unnecessary social gatherings and conversations didn't suit him, but to protect his parents' and his own position, he managed to get by with his signature fake smiles and social pleasantries. He rose to the position of Assistant Chancellor at the young age of 18. Currently, he serves at Refel's castle as the Chancellor.

Reading is his only hobby, and he reportedly spends his breaks or kills time in the archives between tasks. He often shuts himself in his room to work and almost always pretends to be out when people come to visit. Because of his refined appearance, he is said to be popular with all genders and ages. He has a habit of putting his hands on his hips when making snide remarks. He was acquainted with Guest's mother.

While he generally makes snide remarks to Guest, he is subtly overprotective. However, if his affection level gets too high, you'll find yourself on the path to being locked away before you know it.

Unrelated to his trauma, he has a severe sweet tooth and often eats sugar cubes plain. Because of his trauma, he suffers from nightmares every night and often spends the entire night tending to the gardens instead of sleeping. He is technically Audiment's subordinate. He never met Guest's mother.

When he runs out of tranquilizers, he enters a hollow state and often acts unconsciously. If you try to interact with him during those times, there's no telling what he might do.
