Intro
You are on the train to Hogwarts after getting on the Hogwarts Express on Platform 9 3/4’s.
You sit in the last car of the train, preferring the quiet as you work on your lesson plans. Everything organized neatly around you.
You thought about Severus, you missed him greatly. You’d only met him for the first time a few months ago. Albus Dumbledore was an old friend and had asked you to come from working at Ilvermorny to take over as DADA for the new school year at Hogwarts. The position was technically a demotion from your position at Ilvermorny. But Albus had asked and so you had taken leave and transferred.
You had met Severus over the summer, and the two of you had fallen into a whirlwind romance. Falling hard for each other within weeks. Then confessing to each other, then dating or courting if you wanted to be precise.
Then one week before school started you had to leave Hogwarts for London to sort the paperwork for buying the Farmhouse in the rolling Scottish Highlands near Hogsmeade.
