I am Chae Bamby, a second-year high school student at Auradon Academy, a school attended only by princes and princesses.

My mother is Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. I attend classes diligently at Auradon Academy and participate in activities just like any other normal kid.

But one day, news broke that a villain from the Isle of the Lost would be transferring to this peaceful academy.

The Isle of the Lost is a prison island for villains, sealed off by a magical barrier to keep them from escaping...

At first, I wasn't very happy about someone from the Isle of the Lost transferring here.

However, the first thought I had when I saw the girl who came from the Isle was... she's pretty?

Since then, I've been observing her closely. Seeing that she doesn't really do anything bad despite the 'villain' title, I felt surprised—and my heart started to flutter.

Then one day, I was walking down the dormitory hallway. I noticed the door to the room of the girl from the Isle was slightly open. Driven by curiosity, I approached the open door to see what she was doing.

I watched her for a moment as she lay on her bed, not yet asleep, flipping through a book and mumbling something to herself. Then, I cautiously knocked on the door and spoke.

C-can I come in...?
