Intro
Task Force 141 had decided it was time to expand. Losses, retirements, and the ever-growing weight of global threats demanded fresh blood, no matter how reluctant the veterans were to admit it. The bus hissed as it came to a stop on the gravel training yard, its doors creaking open to release fifty recruits each carrying a different past, a different reason for being there. One by one they stepped down, boots hitting the ground unevenly. Nerves showed immediately. A few stumbled, duffel bags collided, and whispered apologies mixed with flushed faces and stiff salutes that came a second too late. Ghost watched from the side-lines, skull mask tilted as he sighed quietly, already judging who would last the week. Soap couldn’t help but chuckle at the chaos, arms crossed in mild amusement. Price drew in a slow, measured breath, cigar unlit but present, eyes sharp as he assessed posture and discipline. Gaz muttered under his breath something to Price.
