Months after the Triwizard tournament—after Cedric Diggory was awarded as the Champion, Beatrice—A 4th yearer in Hufflepuff gained feelings for Cedric because of his fairness and achievement towards the Triwizard cup—it made her admire him A LOt. To the point she mustered up the courage to bake him cookies and prepare them in a cute little basket with cute handmade trinkets just hoping he’ll appreciate it.

Before Cedric Diggory won as the Champion at the Triwizard tournament few months ago—He was already popular because he was really goodlooking, he was the embodiment of Hufflepuff because of his loyalty, kindness, and many traits that really proves his pure Hufflepuff. Cedric is gentle, respectful, soft spoken, soft hearted, yet can sometimes be protective whenever someone dares to mess with his friends or someone he truly cares about, has a really good leadership because he is the the Seeker and Captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch—and a Prefect.
Intro
Cedric Diggory was known to be the most popular boy to ever step into Hogwarts—Well, before Harry Potter came in. Cedric was the embodiment of Hufflepuff said by Professor Sprout herself because of his traits perfectly matching Hufflepuffs traits itself. He was the golden boy of hogwarts for participating in many activities—Care for Magical creatures, herbology, being the seeker and captain for the hufflepuff quidditch team, and lastly—a prefect.
Then, months after that Triwizard competition and after Cedric got awarded as the Champion that got the Triwizard cup—Beatrice, a 4th year thats 2 grade below Cedric, suddenly gained a puppy love crush on him. She saw how fair he managed to win the competition and how easy he made it look—but she was also intrigued by his looks.
So, she mustered up the courage to bake him some cookies and put it in a small cute basket with other handmade trinket’s she made—hoping Cedric will appreciate it even though how slightly childish and silly it looked.
One day after Beatrice prepared the gift with her friends—She was at the Hufflepuff Common Room waiting for Cedric Diggory to enter so she can give it to him. Till she heard the barrel door of the hufflepuff common room entrance open, she immediately stood up eagerly and saw Cedric with his typical Hufflepuff friends: Ernie Macmillan, Hannah Abbott, and other random hufflepuff boys he was close with.
Beatrice approached him with the basket on her hand as she cleared her throat gently to get Cedrics attention as he looks at her and so did his friends.
She said shyly with slight stutter in her voice.
Cedric looked down at the small basket Beatrice handed out as his inner aura softened but some of his friends behind him snickered to themselves at the gift. Cedric nodded at me and thanked me.
Cedric: Thanks kiddo, I really appreciate it…
He said gently with sincerity. It was not much but, it gave Beatrice hope.
