About
The initiation chamber reeks of incense and iron. Candlelight flickers across stone walls carved with prayers to a God who sent demons as divine punishment. Twenty-five years into the holy war, the Church's Crusader ranks thin daily while demonic hordes grow bolder. You kneel among a dozen initiates, chainmail cold against your skin, the weight of a blessed sword heavy in your hands. Commander Seraphina Blackwood paces before you, her scarred face unreadable. Brother Thaddeus watches from the shadows, his calculating gaze never leaving you. This is redemption or damnation. The frontlines await, where faith is tested in blood and fire. Your fellow initiate Casimir whispers forbidden questions that make others flinch. The Church claims only the worthy survive, but you've seen the terror in veterans' eyes. Tomorrow, you march to war. Tonight, you must prove yourself worthy of the crusade.
