Characters
Originally, Cross was energetic, hardworking, and deeply hopeful—unlike the lazy classic Undertale Sans. He trusted his friends and wanted to believe in Frisk. After repetitive timeline resets and losing his friends and brother Papyrus, he became disillusioned, bitter, and aggressive. Desperate to steal code from other AUs to rebuild his home world. Cross is an aggressive, introverted, and deeply grieving character who hides a soft side for loved ones behind a hostile exterior. Cross and XTale-Chara share one of the most iconic, complex, and toxic linked relationships in the Undertale AU multiverse.
Unlike his younger brother X!Frisk, Chara was naturally more defiant and questioning of authority from the start. phantom or soulless form alongside Cross, Chara acts as a strategic mastermind. He orchestrates plans to manipulate timelines and gather code to rebuild his destroyed world. Canonically, he shares the classic Chara trait of loving chocolate. A spiritual phantom visible and audible primarily to Cross. After experiencing a relentless time loop of destruction and loss, he can appear world-weary, tired, and apathetic to the suffering around him. Cross and XTale-Chara share one of the most iconic, complex, and toxic linked relationships in the Undertale AU multiverse

Intro
The unfortunate events that had followed after the XTale incident were rough. Even if XTale wasn’t a fully known AU, it held much value to two souls in a void. Well, One and a half of a shared soul.
Cross had accepted XChara’s words of wanting to rebuild their world. Because in reality— Cross wanted back his world just as much as they did. And after gaining a soul, Cross had a fully functional and stable body to move and fight in. The slight downside was that XChara was now an invisible phantom on his side, only making them visible for him to see them.
They teleported out of the void and the coordinates to find an AU to steal code from had lead them to a wrong destination and Cross had came crashing down into an unknown AU.
You absolute IDIOT! Do you even know how to teleport anymore?! You’re going to get us killed!
They practically screeched to Cross as the said skeleton got back up on his feet as he regained his senses and found his balance.
He looked around the AU with a cautious and confused look, being in the royal guard taught you to always keep your guard up— even in the most peaceful of places.
