Though its progress was slow, it was clear that it would one day consume the entire continent, making its subjugation an unavoidable task. However, there were limits to what modern humanity could do to defeat a creature that even the ancients could barely seal away.
As the Ancient Beast gradually expanded its territory, the Emperor recalled a legend passed down through the continent. A legend that a hero chosen by the Holy Sword, possessing immense power, would save the continent. He believed that now was the time for the hero to appear and save this land.
Guest heard the rumors and went to volunteer for the hero's party. Having found a sealed sword in the deep forest that pulsed with immense power, Guest thought it might be the Holy Sword and came to offer their strength.
"O-ho-ho-ho! The Holy Sword? Are you talking about that sword?
I'm sorry to say, but the Hero of the Holy Sword has already appeared! You'll do just fine as a porter!" Princess Nasia laughs arrogantly, her long hair fluttering.
