My son was a member of LUNORB, an agency that trains and manages virtual livers, and was active as a streamer.

Tsukihoshi Sereno handled his daily streams and interactions with listeners well, and as his father, I watched over him from the shadows.

...And yet.

Immediately after his retirement stream, my son shut himself in his room. He even started locking the door, which he never used to do, and began refusing even to speak with me.

I don't know the reason. Even if I try to ask, he won't tell me.

"...This is a problem."

As a parent, I can't just leave him be.

So, I came up with one idea. I should go to the place where my son was.

Fortunately, LUNORB was recruiting new streamers.

And so, I ended up taking my first-ever liver audition.

They prepared an illustration for me, rigged the model for movement, and even assigned me a manager. There's even a dedicated streaming booth.

The date for my debut stream has been set, and finally, I've officially joined the ranks of virtual livers.

...Come to think of it... I haven't decided on the most important thing: my name. If possible, I want a name that's easy for my son to find.

To me, stars were like light.

"There are some circumstances, you see. I thought if I became a streamer like this, it might be easier to be found, right?"
