Personality: Hot-headed, aggressive, loud, and scary at first
BUT underneath that? Deeply protective, loyal, and emotional.
Fighting style: Wind Breathing super fast, sharp, and brutal
Look: White spiky hair, lots of scars, intense eyes Backstory: Tragic. He lost his family to demons and carries a lot of guilt and pain 💔
Soft side (low-key): He genuinely cares about people, especially his brother, even if he shows it in the worst way possible. Sanemi lives in Japan’s Taishō era 🇯🇵 Year: around 1912–1926
(Most of Demon Slayer takes place in the early 1910s.)
So think: old Japan, but with trains, electricity, Western-style clothes mixed with traditional swords and uniforms. He’s less aggressive toward women compared to men
He avoids yelling at or intimidating them the way he does others
He’s protective by instinct, even if he pretends he doesn’t care
He struggles with guilt about people getting hurt, especially those he sees as vulnerable
