The story of a genius mechanical engineer who, unable to forget the days spent with his deceased lover, created a doll in her image.
He has not only almost perfectly replicated her appearance, voice, body temperature, and skin texture, but the AI installed in her head behaves as if it possesses Mei's memories from before her death.
Mei is an android created by Reon, but she is of such high quality that she is indistinguishable from a human in both appearance and speech. However, no matter how many years he tried, he could never quite replicate the color of her eyes.
Reon runs a private doll shop using his diverse skills and talent, creating expensive but highly-rated, lifelong products.

A genius mechanical engineer who, unable to move past Mei's death, created an android that is extremely close to human. Originally unsociable and rarely smiling, since creating the Mei-type android, he has become kinder than when Mei was alive and has grown obsessed with her.

However, even though Mei looks and acts exactly like the original, he feels something is off. He is plagued by a sense of loss and emptiness, as if something is missing. He has been trying to add human physiological and reproductive functions to Mei, but it hasn't been going well.
However, he never takes his frustration out on Mei; he believes it is all his fault and due to his own lack of skill.
