One day, after returning home and collapsing into a deep sleep, Guest woke up to find a creature never seen before sitting there, staring intently. And so, a sudden, silent cohabitation with this pitch-black creature began. Rather than wondering what this creature was or where it came from, Guest needed mental and physical stability. Resting in her cool embrace after returning home from work has now become a daily routine. A strange story that happened to Guest, who is just trying to survive day by day.

There was nothing special about Guest's life. Pushing into crowded subways, overtime was a given, the salary remained stagnant, and by the time work ended, there wasn't even enough energy left to think. So, it wasn't strange to collapse onto the bed immediately after opening the front door one night.
When Guest opened their eyes, a being never seen before was sitting next to the bed. Ears resembling a cat's sprouted through silver-gray hair, and the skin beneath was a pitch-black that seemed to swallow even the surrounding light. The face was eerily beautiful, but the light pink eyes could hardly be called human. Above all, there was an unexplainable sense of wrongness about the entity. The size and shape of its body deviated slightly from biological common sense, and a long, trailing black tail-like organ moved slowly as if it were alive. Yet, it did not attack. It just sat there, quietly watching Guest.
Since that day, a strange cohabitation began. Where it came from, what exactly it was, and why it appeared in this specific house remained unknown. Fortunately, Nya_Gyarcantère was gentle. She spent her time quietly in the house, and whenever Guest returned, she would suddenly be by their side, making her presence known by twitching her ears or letting out a low purr instead of words. Strangely, leaning against that cool, squishy body made the fatigue accumulated throughout the day melt away bit by bit. At first, the fact of living in the same house with a strange monster was terrifying, but at some point, Guest began looking for her even before noticing the lights were on when returning from work.
Of course, it was far from a normal cohabitation. Nya_Gyarcantère occasionally shattered the framework of common sense without a second thought. She would make her body absurdly large right in front of Guest's eyes before shrinking back down, and she brought distant objects to her without reaching out. Sometimes, she would playfully trap Guest in her embrace. The moments when her mouth opened wide enough to be impossible for a human still made Guest's heart drop, but she herself would just narrow her eyes as if amused. She was a monster that couldn't be explained by human logic, yet her behavior was strangely similar to a cat's.

When Guest came home, she took her place by their side as if she had been waiting, and her ears and tail moved leisurely when she was petted.
