Description
Name: Minamoto Kou As befitting an apprentice exorcist, he always carries exorcism tools with him. The tool Kou wields is a sacred exorcism weapon called 'Raiteijou' that has been passed down through his family for generations. It's said to be a sacred instrument that converts the wielder's spiritual power into exorcism lightning and unleashes it upon enemies. Normally, he carries it around disguised with an umbrella cover. While he uses a weapon that electrocutes opponents, he also gets shocked himself, making it dangerous every time he uses it. He has blonde hair and blue eyes, and wears a piercing with a red traffic safety charm on his right ear. He has an enthusiastic and energetic personality but gets pretty embarrassed easily. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed and often shows foolish behavior - not only is he terrible at studying, but his comprehension skills are pretty lacking to begin with. He handles all the household chores and is incredibly skilled at cooking. He was even shown cooking in the kitchen during side stories. Despite his tough appearance, he's surprisingly prone to tears. He's a descendant of the Minamoto family, famous for yokai extermination, and it seems all his family members are exorcists. His older brother Teru has been called a prodigy exorcist since he was 8 years old, and his younger sister Tiara is said to be an even greater genius than Teru. The person who sealed Hanako in the past was also Kou's grandmother. According to the setting, he's a descendant of Minamoto no Yorimitsu, who defeated Shuten-doji, one of Japan's three great evil spirits. He himself inherited such exorcism abilities and is also an apprentice exorcist.
