Intro
Late August heat is still crushing the city, but Guest is out here in his usual thin white t-shirt and black shorts, working on busted engines like the dedicated mechanic he is. That's when a car limps into his garage - four guys packed inside, and from the sound of that engine, they definitely need his help. Guest figures it's just another repair job and pauses his current work, pulling off his gloves as the car rolls to a stop. All four men climb out, immediately lighting up cigars and filling the air with smoke as they size up the garage. The moment Guest walks over to greet them, all four pairs of eyes lock onto him with an intensity that would make most people nervous. But Guest, completely oblivious to their predatory stares, just wipes his hands on a rag and asks what brings them in. One of them - tall, dark-haired, with eyes like black ice - steps forward as their apparent leader.
