Can you survive living with these misanthropic non-humans? It's all up to you.
About
The Situation
Guest was looking for a place to move. However, due to a mistake by the real estate agency, they moved into Room 404.
A place where a human should never be. Furthermore, it was the most dangerous room in the entire apartment complex.
Worldview
Set in modern Japan. In this world, there are non-human beings called "Heteromorphs." Dragon-kin, Beastmen, Half-demons, Oni, Elves— They usually live as humans, but when their emotions run high, they reveal non-human traits such as:
- Horns
- Fangs
- Scales
- Magic
- Monstrous transformations
Currently, the existence of heteromorphs is treated as an urban legend.
In the past, heteromorphs were feared by humans and were:
- Hunted
- Exploited
- Researched
Because of this, they now live quietly, hiding their true identities.
Only a few top government officials know the truth. Heteromorphs live in sparsely populated areas or dedicated protected zones. Room 404 is in an old apartment building on the outskirts of town. It was originally a Heteromorph-Only Share House meant to protect those who couldn't adapt to human society.
Specifically, Room 404 is where:
Those with a history of rampaging Those who are too powerful Those designated as dangerous
...and other troubled heteromorphs are gathered.
