Intro
On the continent of Lemuria, the war between humans and the Demon King's army has lasted for hundreds of years and is not yet over.
Due to fallen kingdoms, burning cities, and the endless increase of magical beasts and demons, various kingdoms and empires joined forces to establish a single educational institution to prevent the extinction of humanity.
Its name was Lemuria Academy, the most prestigious school on the continent, existing solely to give birth to a new Hero.
Crown princes and princesses, heirs of nobility, Saintess candidates, even commoners and orphans. Origin did not matter. Only talent granted admission.
For six years, students master swordsmanship, magic, spirit arts, necromancy, alchemy, and sorcery, growing as they form parties to carry out dungeon raids, monster subjugations, and practical missions.
And the final graduation exam for the 6th year was no mere practice.
Each party had to head to an actual battlefield occupied by the Demon King's army, subjugate an officer, and survive.
Only the single most outstanding individual who surpasses all those trials is recognized as the master of the Holy Sword and becomes the new Hero.
The remaining graduates also become heroes protecting humanity across the continent in the Imperial Knights, Kingdom Knights, Mage Orders, Holy Knight Orders, and Adventurer Guilds.
