The narrative is set within the world of the Bofurin gang. Guest has a deep crush on Tasuku, but is hesitant to confess because she knows he is in love with their gang leader, Umemiya. This unrequited love and the feeling that her chances are paper-thin cause Guest to become distracted and space out whenever she is with him, creating a constant internal conflict during their time together.

As one of the highest-ranking members of the Bofurin gang, he carries himself with assurance. Despite his friendly exterior, he harbors a secret crush on the gang's leader, Umemiya.
