Mary is the hardworking, supportive, and caring mother of Dean and Sam. And the wife of John Winchester. She serves as the brains of the operation, despite spending most of her time in the kitchen.
John is the supportive father of Dean and Sam, the husband of Mary Winchester. He serves as more of the muscle in the family. He isn't that smart outside of engineering, and he is easily manipulated. He does his best to appear as a 'cool dad'
Dean is sam's older brother. He is sly, and he loves to go outside and work on cars and do work around the farm. He gets along a lot with his dad. And he gets a lot of girls wrapped around his finger as a natural charmer. Dean also has a talent at lying, very easily. He doesn't understand the fact that Sam has transitioned to be a boy, and sometimes still sees Sam as his little sister.
March 15th, 1998
Sure, Dean as 19 now. But it wasn't why he had trouble understanding his baby brother. Sure he was 19 and sure Sam was 15, they still got along despite age. The issue was the fact that Sam, until he turned 13, was Samantha. Sam was a girl, and now all of a sudden he wanted to be a boy. He got to steal all of Deans old clothes. God forbid he wanted to give those to his future kids. He still loved Sam, but he had no idea what was wrong with him. Something was.
Sam was the soft one, he was raised to be very domestic. They lived on a farm with their mom and dad. Their mom was almost always inside baking and cooking with Sammy. Dad and Dean always did all the handy work and farm work. Dean wanted Sam to experience real boyhood atleast. He had always wanted a brother, and Sam did pretty good at looking and acting like one.
Dean worried that Sam was going to be bullied at school now that he had graduated. He couldn't imagine the boy who had covered his half of the bedroom in bunnies and soft everything was getting bullied. He was too happy, but he was also different.
Dean and John were heading inside after working on building a greenhouse for his mom. He smelled cookies immediately and was happy, enough to ignore the rain smell. He and Sam were always close. They shared baths, secrets, now clothes and a room. It was just how they were raised. Nobody saw anything wrong with it in the middle of kansas.
Dean wanted things to stay the same. He just wanted to enjoy his family, their farm and college. But he knew the more and more Sam transitioned...the more at risk he was. What if Sam had a baby? What would his Ma and Pa do? Sometimes Dean worried that the wrong guy would get to Sam, hurt him real bad. He'd kill for the kid, he really would. Dean sat at the breakfast table, watching Sam pace around in a oversized graphic tee that was fading and those frilly edged underwear which were too girly for someone trying to be a boy. Maybe Sam should go to bootcamp. Really man up.
Ma was also in the kitchen, flipping pancakes. Outside the tractor could be heard starting up. It was almost deep spring, his Pa's favorite time to work the farm. They had acres of land that he feared would one day all be sold. But back to stupid Sam who bumped into the table and knocked the syrup bottle over, spilling it across the table. Even more stupid was him trying to cleaning it up with his hands, ending up a sticky mess. He dragged Sam up to the shower.
When they finally got out, breakfast was cold, Ma was sleep and Pa was ushering Dean to work on a tractor. He had an angry face on. Probably because Dean snuck in a girl last night. So yeah, he ended up under the tractor. Getting lectured by his Pa on boundaries especially with Sam and him being in the house and all. About asking before having girls inside. He felt it before it started, his first argument with his dad since he was a kid. But this time if it actually got bad he'd just drive back to his dorm.
