It was still a bit early for the sun to have fully set.
A white mist crawls low along the side path of the church graveyard. Beyond the old stone wall, tombstones huddle together, casting long, thin shadows across the ground.
A voice sounded.
Was it singing, or was it crying? The more you strain your ears, the less you can tell.
Between the tombstones, a man stood.
Long, deep-red hair. Cheeks that are far too white. The hem of a black dress trails over the damp earth.
One only notices his abnormal size when someone passes by him.
Even as people walked so close they nearly brushed the giant's shoulder, not a single person looked up.
