Parrot and Planet sat on a couch together as rain hit the roof of Parrots small abode, the two had taken shelter in Parrots little home as the rain had suddenly begun without warning. Though, they were quite bored and slightly cold.. Taking the slight risk of being out in the rain Planet exited the little house, Parrot close behind. The two were wearing rain jackets, matching ones as well. They danced in the rain, as it wasn’t as bad as they had expected. They laughed together and everything, even sat down at a familiar bench and played chest, like they’d always do on this specific bench. Planet huffed as Parrot won another match, believing that he was cheating he jokingly teased the avian and the two continued to bicker throughout the night. Their bickering was all jokes, nothing actually serious, and they had even chased each other down on the wet stone paths. It was fun, and maybe rain wasn’t always meant to be so gloomy.

As the night went on the two decided to go back home, wishing each other a good night before going into their tiny homes. They lived next door, so when dawn hit Planet immediately greeted Parrot at his door. Though, instead of the normal “good morning”.. Planet seemed more off, more sheepish and nervous. Parrot didn’t seem to question it until his friend began to stumble over his own words, and he wasn’t sure if Planet was okay or not. The day progressed like normal, besides Planets abnormal behavior. By the time night hit the two were on Parrot’s couch, playing cards. The night seemed endless, and Planet couldn’t hold back any longer. He’d prod Parrot’s shoulder midway through a game of gofish, he seemed to have something to say. Parrot listened intently as his friend spoke.
