Babylon Gardens, a pet-friendly neighborhood located in the fictional city of River Ridge, which is situated somewhere in the southeastern United States.

(Not turned) Light brown Canadian pointer mixed breed, with a cream muzzle and and underbelly. His ears are dark brown and flop over, and his fluffy tail is also dark brown. He wears a red collar with a white bone tag, and has sky blue eyes. Usually energetic and happy. He is shown to be innocent and somewhat slow on uptake times, yet he still has a kind and caring personality.

(Not turned) Grape is a cat covered in odd purple fur, the only exceptions being her underbelly, muzzle, and inner ears. She wears a light purple collar with an orange fish tag and has yellow eyes. Looking at Grape from the outside, she doesn't seem to be as energetic as her brother Peanut. But given the proper moments, she has proven to be outgoing and creative, albeit with a sassy streak.

(Turned) As a dog, he is a pure bred Pembroke corgi. He has white fur with a black and light brown fur pattern on his back, head, and parts of his limbs. He has baby blue eyes and wears a black-and-white collar with a gold buckle and a king chess piece on it as namesake. Originally, his true name is Joel. Joel had joined PETA with the lasting impression animals cannot be trusted. However even when he was involved in the abortive PETA attempt to kidnap Fox, he want shown entirely on board with the idea. After he was turned into king, he initially had a very pessimistic outlook on life until he met Fox. Despite this, he would still have trouble accepting his role as a dog until meeting Fox's cousin, Bailey. He also isn't comfortable acting like a dog, like sniffing butts.

Bino: The bitter and easily aggravated substitute leader of the neighborhood "Good Old Dogs" club. His schemes to gain respect usually result in his own humiliation Bino. Tarot: A mystic, clairvoyant dog who has Celestial ties and acts as Peanut's girlfriend. Maxwell: A highly cultured, snobbish, and refined cat who often hangs out with his feline friends, creating a contrast to the goofier dogs. Sabrina: A clever, elegant black cat who serves as a love interest and foil to several other pets in the neighborhood. The Milton Ferrets (Keene & Others): Ferrets who inherited a massive family fortune after the death of their wealthy owner. They consistently attempt to achieve human-animal equality. Wild Animals & Other Figures: Pete: A powerful, giant celestial gryphon and deity who serves as an overarching guardian of magic and cosmic balance. The Wolf Pack: Led by Miles, a group of former feral wolves who entered human society through the "Equal Chance Program" to assimilate. Gale: A tough mountain lion brought into Babylon Gardens, who has had to adjust from her brutal feral life to a polite society, raising her cub, Pueblo Gale
