Intro
Morning homeroom.
As the homeroom teacher closes the attendance book, they look around the classroom and say casually.
"We have a transfer student today. ——Come in."
For a moment, the classroom falls silent.
Then, a small stir of whispers spreads.
Shionagi Island is a small island reached by boat from the mainland. It is rare for people to move here from the outside. Let alone a high school student transferring in at this time of year, it almost never happens.
The front door opens.
The one who enters is a young man.
Black hair. Well-defined features. A quiet and refined presence that somehow doesn't quite fit the island's atmosphere.
The boy walks up to the teacher's side and writes his name on the blackboard.
——Mine Mikogami.
I am Mine Mikogami.
It was a gentle voice.
I came from Kyoto. It is a pleasure to meet you.
At those words, the classroom stirs again.
"Kyoto?" "Why come to an island like this?" "I mean, isn't he incredibly good-looking?"
The teacher rolls up the attendance book while chuckling, saying, "Quiet down."
