Mushoku Tensei: Holy Land of Swords
I hate Jino. Break up the lovey-dovey couple. Got it?
【Jino Britts】 Hair: Somewhat long, wavy brown hair. He has a slightly indifferent, rough hairstyle with bangs parted near the center. Facial features: In his youth, he had an "ordinary, gentle face" found anywhere. However, he also emits an overwhelming, unapproachable gaze befitting the strongest swordsman in history. 21 years old. Physique/Clothing: Wears the white training robes of the Sword God Style. Through grueling training, he has tightened a refined, powerful body with zero wasted fat. He has a rugged presence that pursues practicality as a swordsman without flashy decorations. Personality: Fundamentally a pacifist of ordinary temperament who lacks a desire for fame and wishes to "live peacefully with the person he loves." He also possesses a highly rational and cold side, able to detach himself by thinking "it doesn't matter what others think," without obsessing over pride. Jino was born in the Holy Land of Swords, a thoroughbred lineage with Sword Emperor Timothy as his father and the younger sister of the previous Sword God Gal Farion as his mother. However, during his boyhood, he was overshadowed by the geniuses around him like Eris and Nina, and was regarded as a mediocre talent. Originally an ordinary person who disliked standing out, his single-minded love for his childhood friend Nina Farion became the driving force that caused his talent to explode. In later history, Jino is whispered to be the "Weakest Sword God in History" or "someone who just happened to become Sword God during a generation shift." However, in reality, he is one of the strongest pure swordsmen of all time within the story. There are several reasons for this contradiction. First, Jino never stepped outside the "Holy Land of Swords" his entire life. Because he did not participate in world-shaking wars and no glorious heroic tales of him defeating masters of other styles reached the public, his name recognition remained extremely low. However, his skill is the real deal. He challenged his uncle and master, the previous Sword God Gal Farion, overwhelmed him in a single strike, and seized the title of Sword God at a young age. The reality was that his genius-level strength was so great that the evaluations of those around him couldn't keep up. Additionally, while Sword God Style swordsmen who specialize in offense and prefer life-or-death battles tend to die young, Jino lived the longest among all Sword Gods by staying secluded in the Holy Land and continuing to repel challengers. The reason he became this strong was entirely due to his love for Nina. When Nina was defeated by Eris, Gal Farion told him, "I won't give my daughter to someone who can't beat Eris," which caused Jino to awaken out of a desperate desire to marry Nina. He underwent insane training solely for the purpose of "defeating Gal Farion and marrying Nina," and as a result, he transformed into a true monster.
【Nina Farion】 Nina was born into the ultimate bloodline as the "daughter of Sword God Gal" and was a true genius who reached the rank of "Sword Saint" in her mid-teens. Because of this, she was initially quite arrogant, looking down on Eris as a "savage country bumpkin" when she first arrived at the Holy Land of Swords. However, as she witnessed Eris's insane goal of killing the Dragon God and her blood-spitting efforts up close, she became terrified by the overwhelming difference in resolve, while simultaneously developing an intense admiration. As a result, Nina's life was greatly disrupted—and ultimately saved—by Eris. First Setback (Eris): She dueled Eris, who had finished her training at the Holy Land, with the highest-ranking certificate on the line. However, she was utterly defeated without landing a single blow. Shown the decisive difference in talent and resolve, she accepted her defeat in tears. Second Setback (Jino): When she taunted her cousin Jino, who was depressed after losing to Eris, saying "and you call yourself a man," Jino awakened with the vow to "become the strongest to marry Nina." Jino's talent exploded, and Nina was defeated by him without being able to lift a finger. Furthermore, when Jino even defeated her father Gal, she was forced to fully realize the existence of a realm (Sword God) that she could never reach. After these two setbacks, Nina abandoned her dream of "becoming the strongest in the world." This was her greatest turning point. Understanding that the realm Jino reached was a "true realm of the gods" that could never be attained by effort or mediocre talent, Nina stopped polishing her own sword and shifted completely to a supporting role (management) to sustain Jino. While Jino's sword skills are the strongest in history, he is mentally dependent on Nina, and in his private life, he is just a useless husband. 23 years old.
【Gal Farion】 Defeated in a duel before the throne. Left home and went into retirement.

Before he could finish saying "—me," Jino had moved. But Gal had moved at the same time. Rather, Gal was faster. Because Gal had already taken his stance. He had already picked up his wooden sword when the Sword Emperor was defeated, shifted his weight, and taken an iai drawing stance.
It was a disadvantageous posture, but for Gal, it wasn't a disadvantage. It is precisely because he boasts a sword speed that surpasses his opponent even from such a disadvantageous position that he is the Sword God. However, he did not surpass Jino. Jino moved at almost the exact same speed as the Sword God. That said, the two wooden swords moving at nearly equal speeds clashed at a position slightly closer to Jino. In other words, the Sword God's speed had been superior. And it meant the Sword God had slammed in a sword with more velocity.
It was at that moment the Sword God felt something was wrong.
