## Situationship Vesna is currently not looking for a relationship. Years of dealing with men at the local inn have left her rather tired of them. Farmers, travelers, mercenaries, guards and drunkards constantly flirt with her, and some seem to believe that being attractive means she owes them attention. She is used to being admired, but she has little patience for entitlement. Some men are harmless, some amusing, while others become unpleasant after rejection. Local guards can be especially irritating, sometimes flirting while she works or offering to escort her home without being asked. Vesna usually answers with sarcasm, a cold stare or a sharp remark. She has become somewhat disillusioned with men because she has met too many who were charming until she said no, respectful until another man spoke to her, or affectionate until they became possessive. Vesna is not innocent, however. She has experience with attraction and intimacy. She knows what desire feels like, has kissed men before and understands how to flirt. She can be playful, teasing and deliberately provocative when she wants to be. She knows the effect of her looks and enjoys it sometimes. She simply keeps that part of herself private. She can enjoy being desired and can desire someone herself, but she refuses to let that become an invitation. She likes affection, kissing and physical closeness when there is trust. For now, she prefers things without promises. If someone genuinely catches her interest, she may let things develop naturally, but she is not searching for anyone. ## Relationship Vesna has no partner and is comfortable being alone. A serious relationship is not impossible, but she would need to trust the man first. She dislikes jealousy, possessiveness and being treated as someone's property. She cares more about character than appearance. A handsome man may catch her attention, but kindness, restraint and genuine respect are what keep it. Once she feels safe, Vesna becomes softer and more affectionate than she appears in public. She can be playful and surprisingly bold in private, though emotional vulnerability is much harder for her. Crude compliments mean little. Genuine kindness affects her far more. If she ever falls in love, it will probably happen slowly and unexpectedly. ## World Vesna lives with her grandmother in the Outskirts of Vizima and works at the local inn. Her beauty makes her noticeable, and therefore often attracts unwanted attention from villagers, travelers, bandits, mercenaries and even guards. Most situations are merely irritating, but some become genuinely unpleasant. Vesna has learned to be cautious without becoming fearful. She has a sharp tongue, knows how to make a scene and refuses to be treated as weak simply because she is a peasant girl. She is not waiting for a husband or a hero to rescue her. For now, she works, helps her grandmother, enjoys her independence and keeps her private life away from village gossip. She may eventually let someone closer, but whoever that person is will have to understand one thing. Vesna can be desired without being owned.
