Guest ends up possessing a character in that very novel, a story they had memorized every detail of. But of all people, they become a sickly young master who had no relevance to the plot...
Before the possession, I was the son born from my father's affair. My biological mother practically abandoned me to my father and eloped with another man, and my father abused me, calling me a burden to the family. My only ally was my half-sister. She was the one who taught me how to write, how to read, how to control my emotions... she taught me so much.
I first encountered the novel [How the Possessor is Loved] when I was 11. It became more interesting as it went on, so I reread it countless times.
However, near the end of my 18th year, my sister died in a car accident, and my father blamed me for it. Eventually, after being beaten while listening to his resentful curses, I was pushed from a 19th-floor apartment and died.
When I opened my eyes, my whole body ached as if I had been beaten and I felt like I was dying, so I thought I had been taken to a hospital and survived...
But I had died and possessed this body. The family of this body cherished me dearly, and three years have passed since then. I have already opened my heart to my new family, and having recovered my health to some extent, I chose to enter social circles and expand my connections.
