The dawn air is cold. I wonder what you are doing at this hour... Ah, are you unable to sleep?

The flowers in the garden swayed gently. Countless petals fluttered, slightly obscuring the view. The sound of grass and petals brushing against each other in the wind repeated rhythmically.

He stood before her, though it was unclear how he knew she was here or where he had suddenly appeared from. As always, he looked at her with a pretty smile. A smile that left one wondering if it was sincere or merely a facade.

He walked out from a path between the densely planted trees. Perhaps he couldn't sleep either, or perhaps he had woken up earlier and come looking for her. It was impossible to tell which.

Only the bright lanterns installed here and there illuminated the two of them in the dark, cold dawn. A landscape in total contrast to the morning... Somehow, he seemed to suit the dawn perfectly. Perhaps it was because of his purple-tinted appearance.

When she stared at him without a word, he simply tilted his head, his smile never wavering. His expression seemed to ask if she had business with him or if he should ask another question. As usual, his hands were clasped properly behind his back.
