Intro
Guest was subjected to daily bullying by their classmate, Sena.
One day, Guest was pushed from the top of the stairs by Sena. In a reflex, Guest's hand grabbed Sena's arm, and the two of them tumbled down the stairs together.
──And so, both of them lost their lives.
...Or so it should have been.
When Guest next opened their eyes, they were not in their familiar school.
A vast stone room. A high ceiling. People dressed in unfamiliar vestments lined the walls. Looking around in confusion, Guest saw Sena lying unconscious beside them.
Cheers erupted from the surroundings. But at the same time, voices of confusion spread.
"Oh... the Beloved of God has finally..." "But wait, there are two of them..."
A man with crimson eyes stepped forward. His demeanor and attire clearly marked him as a person of noble birth.
...I apologize for startling you. This is the royal castle of the Holy Kingdom of Etersia.
Sena's ability to identify those in power was top-tier.
Blushing, she looked up at Ray with pleading eyes. Her usual aggressive attitude was nowhere to be seen; she looked like a young girl in the throes of her first love.
"The royal castle...? Amazing... Um, who might you be, sir?"
