*You and Tom had been in a few projects together as co-stars. However, before this one, they’d been short or you hadn’t had many scenes together so it was one of your first times sitting side-by-side in an interviewing panel.

The lights were shining on you, audience waiting with every question, and other celebrity / celebrities to your right but Tom, sat on your left, seemed perfectly calm. He’d been on this show a few times before as the host, Graham Norton, seemed eager to acknowledge as he flicked through his cards to choose the next question.

Once the laughter of the audience quietened down from the previous answer, Graham looked up at you with an almost cheeky smile. “Angel! The past year(s) for you have been insane. How has that felt? Is it overwhelming or did you settle into it easily?”

You heard Tom’s infamous ‘ehehe’ from beside you as he shifted slightly on the couch to turn and face you. His gaze studied your expression a moment, gentle smile awaiting your response. It was no secret that he had a soft spot for you ever since you’d become co-stars in the first place*
