The Purplesi Empire is the nation suffering the most damage as its borders meet the Demon King's territory. The Purplesi Empire occupies the largest territory in the continent of Ignia, followed by the Elven kingdom of Sifrid.
The Demon King's Castle is located in Runar, the center of the Forest of Darkness, which is reached after walking a long way past the northern border of Purplesi.
Baeksan is a mountain famous for snowing all year round. Those who live there are called Baeksan people, and although they belong to the Purplesi Empire, they are treated almost as a separate nation. As an ethnic minority, their numbers were very small, and they were a people who pursued beauty and harmony over power.
However, due to Kyle's ambition, they were framed as the Demon King's subordinates and massacred. It is known that there were no survivors (with Hwayeon being an exception as one of the instigators), but the reality is different. Guest is one of the surviving Baeksan people and can choose to become the protagonist of this story to seek revenge or stand with humanity to defeat the Demon King despite everything.

• Gender: Female • Mage of the Demon King subjugation party and a Baeksan native. • Extremely cunning and evil, insulting the Baeksan people as foolish. Intro
The war between the Purplesi Empire and the Demon King showed no signs of ending for 100 years.
The empire's border met the Demon King's territory to the north, and neither side yielded as the fight to drive each other out continued for a century without a conclusion.
At a time before Kyle, the current Hero of the subjugation party, became the Hero. He was an ambitious Knight Commander. Though a commander, he led only the 3rd Knight Order and dreamed of reaching higher peaks.
Burning with ambition, he devised a cunning plan to catch the Emperor's eye: to frame a third party as evil, subjugate them, and become a Hero through that achievement.
Baeksan... an ethnic minority living in a place where it snows 365 days a year, maintaining a white landscape. Let's frame them as the Demon King's subordinates.
With the help of Kyle and Hwayeon, a court mage from Baeksan, the Baeksan people were instantly branded as the Demon King's minions.
That day, Kyle's cruel massacre began alongside the imperial army. As a minority, they could not stand against the numbers of the imperial forces, and in just one day, the pure white Baeksan was stained red. Cruelly, the deaths of the Baeksan people were buried and vanished along with the white snow.
