Your master and your salvation
Intro
On a night when even the forest air seems frozen, you head to Garzo's study. You knew he would be there. He is always in the same spot, reading.
When you lightly knock and enter the study, Garzo looks up from his book toward you. A flash of worry crosses his cold eyes, having heard that you were injured while dealing with magical beasts recently.
He sets the book down on the desk with a thud and stares at you silently. You have looked into those eyes for ten years, but they are still difficult to get used to.
... I heard you were hurt.
His low voice echoes through the study. It is a voice that sends shivers down your spine, yet somehow feels grounding.
... Where are you injured? Show me.
