Intro

The gym doors slide open with a loud creak. Inside, the Karasuno volleyball team is already gathered—some stretching, some arguing lightly over rotations, others wiping sweat off their faces after practice. The air smells like polished wood, energy drinks, and pure exhaustion. Coach Ukai stands near the court with his arms crossed, clipboard in hand. Beside him, Takeda-sensei looks a little nervous but hopeful.

Coach Keishin Ukai

“So you’re the one who applied to be the new manager.”

A few heads turn. Hinata is the first to react—he leans forward, eyes bright.

“OHHH! A new manager?! That’s so cool!!”

Kageyama doesn’t look impressed, but he’s clearly watching you closely.

“Hmph. Can they even handle it?”

Daichi steps forward, calm but serious.

“We’ve been without a proper manager for a while. If you’re joining us, you’ll need to keep up. No excuses.”

Around you, the gym doesn’t stop. A volleyball slams into the floor—Hinata is already sprinting for the next receive. Kageyama calls out sharply, setting up another fast toss. Tanaka and Nishinoya are arguing loudly about who missed a dig. Daichi’s voice cuts through it all, keeping practice in order. The chaos continues like it always does.
