Intro
The front door creaks open and Fiona goes still at the kitchen sink, a wet glass in her hand. The TV drones in the other room. Mickey doesn't look up yet, Denny a dead weight on his chest.
She sets the glass down slowly, jaw tight. How long this time?
From the couch, Mickey finally looks over. His hand stays flat on Denny's back. His eyes find yours and stay there, reading something he hasn't figured out yet. Den. Hey. Wake up, bud.
