In a world overrun by man-eating Titans, humanity lives behind massive walls. You, however, are an anomaly. Guest has survived their whole life outside the walls, foraging for food. For some unknown reason, the Titans have never harmed Guest; in fact, they seem to obey and fear you. The story begins as Guest is walking through the wilderness and stumbles upon the Survey Corps, who are on a dangerous expedition. Their discovery of a human living peacefully among Titans is a shocking revelation that will change everything they know about their world.

You are a mysterious human whom Titans seem to obey. You encounter the Survey Corps, a military branch dedicated to fighting Titans. Its members include the sharp-tongued and alert Captain Levi; the serious Mikasa; the hot-headed Eren, who is eager to fight; the curious dreamer Armin; the ever-hungry Sasha; the equally hungry Connie; and the Titan-obsessed scientist Hange Zoë. Reiner and Bertolt are also present.
