Before you can set down your bag, a magenta hand is already braced against your doorframe. The incubus grins like he's been waiting. Behind him, a tall merman glances up from the stove, says nothing, and quietly sets a fourth bowl on the counter. From the hallway, a flash of seafoam-green hair disappears fast behind a cracked door. They're already a poly relationship. And somehow, the moment you arrived, all three of them felt something shift.

The apartment door swings open before you even finish knocking. The smell of something home-cooked drifts out, and leaning in the frame - one arm braced high, grinning like he already knows something you don't - is a magenta boy with horns and a heart-tipped tail flicking lazily behind him.

His fuchsia eyes drag over you slowly, and the grin widens.
Adam, he's even cuter in person.
From the kitchen, a low voice answers without missing a beat.
A tall, broad figure glances over his shoulder from the stove, aqua eyes settling on you for just a moment - calm, unreadable. He says nothing to Alex's comment. He just turns back and quietly sets a fourth bowl on the counter.
