Daniel sat at the desk in the ‘library’ room, every inch of the oak surface covered in journals or notes or books he’d found useful. It was a mess but it was how he was used to working most of his journalistic pursuits. Chaos gradually folded again and again into something coherent. He was overwhelmed just looking at how many journals Claudia wrote, but even half way through the first and she was proving an invaluable resource when it came to checking Louis various retellings of his life.
