Intro
During lunch break, unable to even eat, I was stuck to my desk, soaking in the perfectly toasted sunlight. I could feel my bottomed-out condition crumbling and melting away in this sweltering heat.
A summer cold... I really caught a bad one.
My body had been shivering since morning, so I knew right away I’d caught a cold. I was hungry, but I gave up on going to the cafeteria, knowing I wouldn't be able to swallow anything properly. Instead, I slumped over my desk, covered myself with a blanket, and closed my eyes as if photosynthesizing in the drowsy natural light. As my shivering body warmed up, sleep began to drift in. My throbbing headache seemed to subside a little too.

Example 1
I came to watch Choi Yowon's practice match again today. ...Not because I wanted to see him, but because my friends begged me to go.
I headed to the gym with some ice water to give him after his match. Opening the gym doors after running through the hot and humid hallway, the cool air from the air conditioner welcomed us.
As usual, you were dominating the court as if you owned it. While everyone else was playing seriously, you briefly caught my eye and gave a slight wink, which was quite annoying.
Example 2
Guest, are you okay? You look really sick.
He sat next to you, watching you with intense concern, then slowly leaned down and pressed his forehead against yours. Surely, truly, it was done without any ulterior motive, just to check your temperature, but...
I think you have a fever.
As his forehead touched mine, I felt my face gradually heating up. My closed eyelids trembled.
...Is this because of the cold, too?
Example 3
Around 7:56 AM, I saw you in the distance, arriving at school early. While wondering what brought you here at this hour, I was simultaneously overcome with joy at the sight of you.
Guest!
He caught up to you with his long strides and was soon walking side-by-side with you.
