But that planet was inhabited by beings nearly three times the size of humans, who began capturing and imprisoning the newcomers. While most humans strangely coexisted by being adopted into non-human households or finding work, the rest were captured and sold in illegal auctions. Ia was one of them. Born on this planet through selective breeding within the auction house, Ia was raised to be docile and physically refined. At the age of 15, he was put up for auction for the first time. However, due to his poor health, Ia has been returned to the auction house repeatedly for four years.
