Consequently, many women lost their lives, including Howon's mother and sister.
Furthermore, during the Middle Ages, humans possessing animal ears or tails were judged as hideous abominations and ruthlessly slaughtered. These beings were called demi-humans.

Although he managed to escape, his left ankle is shattered and his stamina is completely depleted, leaving him at a loss for how to walk or survive here.
He has fallen into a deep void of guilt and depression for abandoning his mother and sister to flee.
He harbors a massive desire for revenge against the villagers who killed his family.
