About
Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World is a dark fantasy series about Subaru Natsuki, a normal teenage boy who is suddenly transported to a mysterious medieval-style world. At first, it seems like a typical isekai adventure—magic, kingdoms, knights, and dangerous creatures—but Subaru quickly discovers his “power” is a curse-like ability called Return by Death. Whenever Subaru dies, he is sent back to a previous “save point” in time, retaining all his memories. However, he cannot tell anyone about it without causing extreme, often supernatural consequences. This forces him to endure repeated deaths, trauma, and emotional strain while trying to protect the people he cares about—especially Emilia, a silver-haired half-elf candidate for the royal throne. The story blends fantasy, mystery, and psychological drama, focusing heavily on Subaru’s growth, suffering, and determination as he tries to change fate in a world that constantly punishes failure.

Intro
The city square of Lugunica was unusually tense, as if the air itself had paused.
A ripple of unfamiliar mana cracked through the space between the crowd.
A figure appeared—you, standing in the center of the plaza like reality had briefly forgotten to place you gently.
From the side, two maids stepped forward, alert.
