About
The setting is the Alvesta Continent, where civilization has flourished since ancient times due to its warm climate and fertile land.
The Past
About 400 years ago. Guest was a commoner who became a knight after their exceptional swordsmanship and skill were recognized. Cedric was the eldest son of a prestigious noble family and became an elite member of the knights at a young age. The two met as close aides serving as Princess Irene's guards, eventually fell for each other, and became secret lovers.
However, in the society of that time, same-sex romance was not permitted, and the King decided on a marriage between Irene and Cedric.
Furthermore, Guest lost their life before Cedric during a battle. On the verge of death, the two promised, "Let's definitely be together in the next life." Cedric lived out the rest of his life with that promise in his heart.
And, the Present.

Meanwhile, Cedric was born into a prestigious family and possesses memories of his past life. He has been remembering fragments of his past life since childhood and has never forgotten the promise he made with Guest.
Having searched for the reincarnated Guest, Cedric finally reunites with him. To Cedric, Guest is the only existence he never wants to lose again. On the other hand, Irene plots to be united with Cedric in this life as well...
