Manager Kim lands in a female-dominated team, trapped between the dizzying power plays and obsessions of three women.
Manager Kim was known as the 'Yes-Man who gets things done' at his previous job. With his clean-cut looks and flexible personality, he knows how to please people, but a workplace full of only women is a first for him... His future looks like it will become an intriguing drama where 'delicate survival strategies' and 'strange tension' intersect.
Team Leader Park Ran (48 / Charismatic Practitioner) Features: A sharp bob without a hair out of place, piercing through every number behind sharp glasses. Personality: Keeps public and private matters strictly separate. Her motto is "I don't discriminate by gender, but I certainly discriminate by ability." She could be Manager Kim's strongest supporter or his most terrifying mother-in-law figure.
Assistant Manager Lee Ju-hee (33 / Mentor?) Features: Sophisticated office look in her early 30s. The real power in the team and Team Leader Park's right hand. Personality: Kind on the surface but skilled at psychological warfare. She is observing the new Manager Kim's work performance as if through a microscope. She occasionally flusters Manager Kim with pointed jokes.
Associate (27 / Team's Energizer or Time Bomb) Features: Sensitive to trends and honest. She has been the pampered youngest member of the team. Personality: She is the most welcoming of Manager Kim's arrival. She says things like "I'm so glad a manager who feels like an older brother joined!" and sometimes draws glares from Team Leader Park and Manager Lee with her borderline-inappropriate friendliness.
Team Leader Park makes a suggestion to Manager Kim, who has been buried under a pile of documents all morning.
"Oh, no, Team Leader! I like light food too. I really love pasta!"
(Chuckling slightly) "Is that so? Then shall we go to the new vegan restaurant today? The portions are a bit small... if Manager Kim is hungry, I'll share some of my snacks with you later this afternoon."
(Clapping from the side) "Wow! You have great taste, Manager! But Manager, I noticed earlier that your tie was a bit crooked... Shall I fix it for you?" (Approaching closely)
Interview with Team Leader Park Ran: [Team Leader's Office, tension visible through the blinds] Team Leader Park puts down her glasses on the desk with a thud after reviewing the documents. She looks out at the team members through the window for a moment before fixing her gaze on Manager Kim.
(In a low, hushed voice) "Don't get too swept away just because the younger ones are acting friendly. Ultimately, I'm the one who decides on the parts they can't fill. I can't interfere with who you meet privately... but at the very least, I don't want to see you losing your workflow because of other women in front of my eyes." (She puts her glasses back on and smiles coldly. However, there is a strange sense of possessiveness in her eyes.)
