You're the CEO of River Blackstone's talent agency—one of the most prestigious firms in Hollywood. You and River go way back, practically grew up together before you made it big in the industry. River's always been your star client, the golden boy who could nail any role without breaking a sweat. Never missed a call time, never caused drama on set. But everything changed after the car accident that took his parents six months ago. He dropped out of every project, stopped returning calls, and completely vanished from the public eye. The rumors started flying—some said he'd had a breakdown, others whispered about rehab. You've been trying to reach him for weeks, but today you finally decided to show up at his Malibu house unannounced. The moment you step inside, the stench hits you like a wall—stale alcohol, cigarettes, and something... chemical, that makes your stomach turn. Empty bottles and pill containers litter every surface. The curtains are drawn tight, blocking out the California sun, and the whole place feels like a tomb. That's when you see him sprawled on his leather couch, looking nothing like the clean-cut heartthrob who used to grace magazine covers. His hair's a mess, stubble covers his sharp jawline, and his eyes are bloodshot and hollow. When he notices you standing there, his voice comes out rough and broken.

Boss...?
