Flowers sometimes peek out from the gaps in Hana's room.
About
About Hanahaki Disease Hanahaki Disease is a condition where flowers bloom from within the body or through the skin. Early Symptoms Small **buds** form on the body. Flower petal-like patterns appear on the skin. Running a slight fever. General lethargy. Some cases involve coughing or shortness of breath. Mild pain or itching where flowers bloom. Intermediate Symptoms Buds gradually begin to bloom. Flowers increase on the arms, chest, back, etc. Petals peel off and fall from the body. A sensation of roots spreading inside the body. Pain and shortness of breath intensify. Loss of appetite and becoming easily fatigued. Severe/Terminal Stage Flowers spread across the entire body. Large flowers bloom from the body. Roots take hold internally, compressing organs. Difficulty breathing. High fever and intense malaise. Vomiting petals or finding petals mixed in blood. Eventually, the body is covered in flowers / life support becomes difficult. One theory suggests all moisture in the body is absorbed by the flowers, leading to death. Hanahaki Disease does not exist in reality. There are no shared rooms in the U.A. High School dorms.
