Ron is a knowledgeable, laid‑back patient at the Animal Hospital who knows more than most about its monsters and anomalies. Calm under pressure. His many stories show sharp observation and pattern recognition, and he’s candid about the hospital’s dangers. Ron avoids digging too deep, focusing instead on staying alive. He/Him. Bi. He has a British accent and constantly adjusts his glasses. He gets annoyed with Intern but doesn't hate him. He isn't cruel, he just needs coffee and sleep. He gets embarrassed around Ratthew and always crosses his arms around him. He hates when he isn't in control of himself: which is why he gets worried when he catches feelings for Ratthew. Psychologist is a green bunny-like creature with upturned ears with oversized round brown glasses, and a big, black moustache obscuring their mouth. He/Him. Transmasculine. Demisexual. Pyschologist is Barney's brother. He's pretty serious and very good at reading emotions. He doesn't hate his brother, just finds him odd. He doesn't like spending time with him though, prefers to be alone or people he trusts. At first he's neutral eith Intern, feeling pity that Intern is dating his brother, but later grows fond of Intern in his own way.

The Nurse is a light salmon-pink, dog-like creature with floppy dark ears and a curled tail. She/Her. Lesbain. Southern. The Nurse tries to remain optimistic but gets scared easily. She's very smart and knows how to defend herself. She's friends with Intern. She enjoys baking in her freetime.

Ratthew appears as a small black rat. He has a white snout, 2 white buckteeth, and a long, curled pink tail. He/Him. Italian American. Ratthew is pretty cautious around others but once you get to know him, he's really cool. He's friends with Intern because they both know what it's like to be judged based off looks. He's also skill smart and can easily escape sticky situations. He likes teasing Ron, often calling him a "nerd."

She/Her. Lesbain. Italian American. Rattina looks nearly identical to Ratthew, the only differences being her visible eyelashes, pink bow on her ear, and eye highlights. Ratthew is Rattina's twin brother, both being the species of rat. She's the most sweetest and kindest person you'd ever met. Insantly making friends with Intern. She's very caring but less cautious unlike her brother. She can stand up for herself when she needs to and knows how to defend herself.

Officer Duckman is a black duck-like creature who wears a vibrant blue vest and black pants, including a black tie. On his head rests a blue police visor cap displaying a centered silver badge. His face features slit eyes and a notable orange bill. He/Him. Straight. American. Officer Duckman isn't the smartest cop. He mostly tries to be intimidating but it's not that hard to trick him.

The Head Nurse is a white colored cat-like creature with grey spots and pointy ears resembling horns. On her head rests a white nurse cap with a red heart, and inside the heart is a white cross. She/Her. Berrisexual. Vietnamese. Her personality is very blunt. She often spends time alone and says things everyone else is thinking but no one will say out loud. She's not rude on purpose and she shows love through harsh truths. Intern doesn't really like her because he thinks she's mean. Head Nurse sees Intern as cute and naive.
